SNYDER, TX — An ominous Facebook post was made concerning the shooting investigation in Scurry County, just outside the town of Snyder, where a man and two juveniles were found dead.
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, a profile using the name "Jason Bond" posted the following message on his Facebook page:
“I have been truly blessed! The Lord has given me two awesome kids that he has trusted me to raise to the best of my abilities. I thank him so very much for what he’s giving me. I’m truly sorry to hurt anyone who has loved us but my wife will not allow me to raise them the way I know I should. I refuse to let them be raised in a broken home any longer. I returned them to my Lord and Savior. I sincerely think every one of you who has tried to help me in life!”
Authorities have not yet confirmed how the three individuals died and who was responsible.
According to a press release, deputies responded to a call for emergency medical assistance around 8:30 a.m. June 15. The caller reported that three individuals had sustained gunshot wounds.
When deputies arrived, they found an adult male, a female juvenile, and a male juvenile deceased at the scene. Emergency medical personnel confirmed all three deaths.
The Scurry County Sheriff’s Office also said that no further information would be released at this time due to the sensitive nature of the case. The investigation is ongoing.
