KANSAS CITY, MO — The Angelo State women's soccer team has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches with the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Team Academic Award. This is the program's 19th consecutive year earning the distinction.
To qualify for the honor, teams must post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. The Rambelles exceeded that mark with a 3.62 team GPA in 2024-25.
In addition to the team accolade, Katelin Heise earned individual recognition last season as a USC Scholar All-American second-team selection.
Angelo State is set to begin the 2025 season at home against Colorado School of Mines on Sept. 4. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
