Concho Valley Schools Debut in Top 10 of Cross Country State Rankings

 

AUSTIN, TX — The Wall girls are ranked No. 4 in the Class 3A state rankings by the Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas, highlighting the Concho Valley’s showing on the preseason list.

The Lady Hawks finished in sixth place at last year’s state meet.

In Class 2A, the Christoval girls are No. 7, followed by Mason at No. 10. 

Christoval had a fifth-place showing at last year’s state meet, while Mason was 12th.

On the boys’ side, Mason is ranked No. 7 and Sonora is No. 8. Both schools had top 10 finishes at last year’s state meet with Mason sixth and Sonora ninth.

In Class 1A, the Garden City girls are No. 5 and Blackwell is No. 6. At last year’s state meet, Blackwell was fifth and Garden City was seventh.
