CLEVELAND, OH — The Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) recognized 84 Angelo State University student-athletes on Tuesday as recipients of the 2024-25 D2ADA Academic Achievement Award, honoring those who excel both in the classroom and in competition.
The national award, now in its 18th year, saluted a record 22,756 student-athletes across 202 Division II institutions. Honorees must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, complete at least two years of college coursework, and be active members of an intercollegiate team during the previous academic year.
Angelo State’s Rambelles track and field program led all school teams with 15 selections, followed by Rams baseball with 14 honorees and Belles volleyball with 11.

The D2ADA award program was created to acknowledge the achievements of Division II student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional dedication to academic success while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics.
