PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia — Police arrested a man in Prince George after he was allegedly found driving a toy Barbie Jeep while impaired during the morning commute, authorities said.
A Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer pulled the man over to assess the unusual traffic situation and determined he was impaired and driving with a suspended license, according to officials.
Police said that under Canadian law, any vehicle powered by something other than muscular force qualifies as a motor vehicle and requires a licensed driver and insurance.
The man, whose name was not released, was arrested for prohibited driving and issued a 90-day driving prohibition.
