Angelo State Rambelles Wrap Up Day One at West Regional Preview

 

PUEBLO, CO — The Angelo State women’s golf team sits in a three-way tie for 17th place after the opening round of the West Regional Preview on Monday at Pueblo Country Club.

Senior Christine Huse led the Rambelles with a 7-over 78 to finish the day tied for 36th overall.

Teammates Beth Norton and Mia Clarke carded matching 81s (+10) to tie for 69th, while Johanna Ohrling followed closely at 82 (+11). Ella Olivarez rounded out the ASU lineup with a 94 (+23).

The Rambelles will return to the course Tuesday morning for the tournament’s final round, where the field will play 18 more holes to decide the team and individual champions.
