DPS: San Angelo Man Killed in Crash on US 87

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A 21-year-old San Angelo man was killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 87 and FM 2105 in Tom Green County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened at 3:38 p.m. when a 2008 Ford F-150 traveling west on FM 2105 failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a northbound 2002 Ford F-150 on U.S. 87, preliminary findings show.

The driver of the westbound truck, Steven Lake Tucker, 21, of San Angelo, died at the scene. He was pronounced deceased by Dr. Mavromauos.

A 62-year-old passenger in Tucker’s vehicle, also of San Angelo, sustained minor injuries.

The 19-year-old driver of the second vehicle, also from San Angelo, was not injured.

DPS reported conditions were clear and roads were dry at the time of the crash.
