VIDEO: Crash Snarls Loop 306 Traffic

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A motor vehicle crash temporarily disrupted traffic on West Loop 306 eastbound near College Hills on Monday afternoon, prompting police to ask drivers to avoid the area.

The San Angelo Police Department issued a traffic alert shortly after 4 p.m., advising motorists to stay clear of the eastbound lanes at College Hills while officers responded to the scene. Traffic was down to one lane. 

Photos from the scene show at least two damaged vehicles that were later towed from the roadway. Both vehicles appeared to have sustained front-end damage. Police vehicles were positioned along the shoulder as traffic moved slowly through the area.

No information is available on injuries, the number of vehicles involved, or the cause of the crash.
