Autopsy Confirms Body Found in the Red Arroyo was of a Man who Drowned

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – An autopsy performed by the South Plains Forensic Pathology recently has confirmed that the man found in the Red Arroyo drowned. 

As first reported on March 4 officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the Red Arroyo on Sherwood Way for the report of a body. Here is the original story: WATCH: Police Find Body in the Red Arroyo

Later police identified the person as 68-year-old Samuel Cisneros. Cisneros body was sent for an autopsy and the doctor determined that he died by drowning. The reasons for the determination was a clear fluid in esophagus and gastric lumen as well as Pulmonary edema. 

Another finding was that Cisneros had Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease. With that Cisneros had Coronary artery disease with up to 90% luminal stenosis. 

A toxicology report was also ran but nothing was found.
