GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, TX – Goodfellow Air Force Base Commander Colonel Andres R. Nazario Wednesday detailed efforts to reopen the base in the wake of the Coronavirus crisis.
Here is the release from Col. Nazario:
Hello Goodfellow and San Angelo! As we continue the fight against COVID-19, we are consistently reevaluating our evolving situation. I have directed the Commissary, Base Exchange and Ross Clinic to gradually restore services to retirees, their dependents, and eligible veterans on 20 May.
The Ross Clinic Pharmacy will provide curbside service only on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Patients must call to activate prescriptions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. These services will not be available on May 21 or May 22. Instructions on how to access this service will be provided on the 17th Medical Group Ross Clinic Facebook page, the 17th Training Wing Facebook page, and online at https://www.facebook.com/17thTraini….
The commissary is available Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. social distancing and face mask wear are required.
The Base Exchange is available Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. social distancing and face mask wear are required.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. Goodfellow values the service and sacrifices of our retirees. This gradual restoration prioritizes the health and safety of our workforce, and all those dependent on base services.
