SAN ANGELO, TX — GO TEXAN partners recorded record-breaking sales during the 2025 rodeo season, with San Angelo among six major cities where Texas-made products were showcased, according to Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.
Three GO TEXAN partners at the San Angelo Rodeo earned a combined $7,989 in sales, contributing to a statewide total of $570,054.98. That figure represents a 19% increase in sales and a 24% rise in participating partners compared to last year.
“The continued growth of GO TEXAN is truly a testament to the rising demand for our excellent Texas-made products,” said Commissioner Miller. “Seeing rising sales despite the economic challenges that Texans currently face is also a direct result of the hard work of our GO TEXAN staff. These rodeos give our partners direct access to thousands of customers and retail buyers annually. I congratulate and thank our participating partners and the TDA’s GO TEXAN marketing team on this excellent rodeo season.”
From January to May, a total of 147 GO TEXAN partners participated in events in Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, the Rio Grande Valley, Austin, and San Angelo. Their booths offered items such as coffee, salsas, housewares, and body care products.
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo led the sales tally, with 59 partners earning $272,868.79. Houston was second with $239,567.39 in revenue from 56 partners.
In addition to the rodeo season success, GO TEXAN partners also brought in $1,114,895 in sales at the 2024 State Fair of Texas GO TEXAN Pavilion.
GO TEXAN, a program launched in 1999, is a marketing initiative by the Texas Department of Agriculture that promotes Texas-based businesses and their products.
