Howard Street Finally Free of Pesky Construction Work

SAN ANGELO, TX — After nearly two years, the Howard Street Roadway Project has finally come to an end.

The project, which included about 1.75 miles of repaved road, finished its last section near Pecos Street and Sherwood Way late last week.

There were also improvements to sidewalks, bike lanes and intersections during the construction, which bogged down different sections of the street for the last 20 months.

The project, which was overseen by Reece Albert, Inc., began in the fall of 2023.
