WATCH: Two-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Houston Harte Expressway

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on the Houston Harte Expressway shut down the westbound lanes of traffic.

On May 14, 2025, the San Angelo Police Department issued a Nixle alert informing drivers to avoid the 2700 block of the Houston Harte Expressway due to a major motor vehicle crash.

Reporters on scene observed a small silver Nissan sedan and a red Chevy pickup that were involved in the crash.

The silver sedan had heavy damage to the back passenger side, and the red truck was loaded up on a wrecker for transport.

No ambulances were seen at the crash.

The westbound lanes of Houston Harte were completely shut down due while clean up was being performed, and the crash was being investigated.

It is unknown if any citations were issued and if anyone involved was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
