Pizza Boy Smashed in Three-Vehicle Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A pizza delivery driver was injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday evening that shut down part of North Bryant Boulevard and sent him to the hospital.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of N. Bryant and W. 15th Street and involved a red Mitsubishi Eclipse—believed to be the delivery vehicle for Pizza Hut—a white Nissan sedan, and a black Ford Ranger. 

Witnesses reported seeing restaurant employees removing items from the red Mitsubishi after the crash.

The Ford truck sustained heavy front-end damage, while the Nissan appeared to be struck on the driver’s side. Emergency crews with the San Angelo Fire Department responded, and one person was transported by ambulance.

The San Angelo Police Department issued alerts urging drivers to avoid the area, noting that the northbound lanes in the 2500 block of N. Bryant were temporarily closed due to the crash.

No official statement was obtained regarding the cause of the wreck.
