Health Department Confirms 12 New Covid Infections, 1 Fatality on Friday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX –– San Angelo is ending the work week with twelve new Covid-19 infections.

According to the daily report, there are currently 162 active cases –– with 23 patients in the hospital.

A new fatality was also confirmed on Friday. The patient was identified as a female in her 60s from Tom Green County. The patient was fully vaccinated at the time of her death.

This brings the total death count at 459 –– 297 from Tom Green County and 162 from other counties.

  • Total positive cases: 24,826
  • Active cases: 162 (155 cases completed their isolation period)
  • Currently hospitalized: 23
  • New positives for today: 12
