Hair Stylist Murdered in Santa Rita

SAN ANGELO, TX — Christie Feland loved to style hair and was a cosmetologist at Southside Kutz Barber Shop on W. Avenue N. Originally from Andrews, she was a single mom of three children.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, she was found dead at a residence in Santa Rita in the 1200 block of W. Avenue M on Nov. 8. A two-week investigation ensued looking for clues as to what happened to Christie.

Today (Nov. 22), police announced a breakthrough in the case. After evidence was discovered by the San Angelo Police Criminal Investigation Division, police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Christopher Wise, 35, on charges of Murder. Wise was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility on a $750,000 bond.
