Despicable Gunman Who Shot a Puppy is Being Hunted by Police

 

KERMIT— The Kermit Police Department is investigating the shooting of a four-month-old puppy Wednesday night.

According to reports, a resident reported shots fired in Kermit and once police arrived on scene, they followed a blood trail that led them to a four-month-old puppy named Vela. The police immediately contacted West Texas Diamonds in the Ruff and took the puppy to the Andrews Veterinary Clinic.

The good news is Vela is alive and will be ok.

Kermit Police are investigating the shooting and no arrest has been made although they do have a suspect.

I'm gonna play the devil's advocate here and propose that the gunman may have had a viable reason for doing this.

I haven't always been the gentle sweet natured person you guys might think I am. I've done some bad and mean things in my life to other men but on my very worst day I would never I repeat never harm a child or a 4 month old puppy. That being said, I can't imagine any viable reason for some lowlife shooting a puppy. An accident would be the only acceptable excuse.

1) In a retirement community that's a military town, I assume that the past of plenty of people might look like Platoon.

2) At least there's the benefit of a doubt here now. Otherwise...
