In San Angelo and across America, millions of people who love America and want to defend our democracy held peaceful, often playful gatherings. Do not believe the Trump lies about America haters, antifa, paid demonstrators—those are the ravings of authoritarians who do not respect you or our democracy. I was proud to join my friends, neighbors, fellow San Angeloans at Civic League Park this morning.

So long as armed officers are present and ready to shoot, tackle, and prosecute, the Left is suddenly all about free thought! They'll even frolic around the lily garden for peace and understanding!

Kudos to you, Gus.  I concur completely with your assessment of the Trumpian flood of balderdash that currently surrounds us and has numbed the minds of many previously thinking people.  I salute you and your courage for stepping out there in MAGAville.

I always thought you were smart.  Peacw.

Makes me feel good about Angelo that there are only 20 nut jobs out of +150,000 in San Angelo that showed up to protest something that does not even exist.

These people have TDS, most of them that you can tolerate to talk to don't like the POPO either and detest Christianity..

Remember +77 million votes for TRUMP.

I wouldn't go so far as to say there are reasons to feel good about San Angelo. The area reminds me of the biblical quote, "What good can come from Bethlehem?" San Angelo doesn't have TDS and also has "Los Lonely Boys," who are natives of Austin when in public. Close enough to being okay, I guess...

San Angelo's population is just over 100,700, not 150,000 according to US Census Bureau. Tom Green County's population is just under 120,000 according to the US Census Bureau. There were several hundred people at the No Kings rally over the two hours. "Big Daddy" obviously was not there or has ongoing problems with math. In the 2024 election, Trump got 77.3 million votes, Harris 75 million.

Math is racist. (I.e., we deeply appreciate your breakdown of the numbers—thereby increasing the mathematical accuracy of this space. Hail Yakub!)
