SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo family is asking for community support after experiencing the loss of a pregnancy earlier this month, according to an online fundraiser.
The fundraiser states that on Tuesday, Dec. 16, the family learned that the child the mother was carrying no longer had a heartbeat. The loss was described as “unimaginable,” according to the fundraiser, and the family said they are still processing their grief while managing day-to-day responsibilities.
According to the fundraiser, the emotional toll of the loss has made it difficult for the family to focus on work and keep up with regular living expenses, including food and household costs. The family said they are reaching out to the community for financial assistance as they navigate this period of mourning.
The fundraising campaign, titled “Support for Our Family After Loss,” is organized by Eddie Nelms of San Angelo. As of Wednesday morning, the fundraiser had raised $100 toward a $1,200 goal, according to the campaign page.
The fundraiser states that donations or messages of support are appreciated as the family works toward stability and healing.
