WATCH: Burkett Man Arrested in Coleman Child Predator Sting

COLEMAN, TX — A Burkett, Texas man was arrested in Coleman after traveling to meet what he believed to be an underage girl for a sexual encounter as part of a sting operation conducted by Predator Poachers Southeast Texas. 

The suspect, identified as Randy Jennings, had been communicating with an undercover decoy for several days on the Meet24 app and through text messages. According to the recorded confrontation, Jennings admitted he was looking for both a long-term relationship and sexual activity with the minor. He acknowledged that the person he was meeting had told him she was 14 or 15 years old. He also admitted to exchanging explicit photographs, including sending nude images of himself, and stated he had purchased food for the planned meeting at his residence. 

Jennings told the decoy operators he had been lonely and had not had sexual relations in approximately six years. He confirmed he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Brown County on unrelated charges. Law enforcement took him into custody at the scene on the existing warrant. Additional charges related to the sting operation are expected once investigators review the chat logs and video evidence. 

The entire encounter was recorded and later uploaded to the Predator Poachers Southeast Texas YouTube channel. The channel specializes in traveling across the United States to conduct undercover sting operations targeting individuals seeking to engage in illegal sexual activity with minors. This incident was described by the group as their 35th catch in June 2026.
