Gov. Greg Abbott Thursday ordered Texas National Guard troops to Del Rio to secure the border as the Biden Administration continues to allow thousands of illegal Haitian immigrants to squat on land under a bridge at the border.  

Alberto Mendoza and Moises Calderon are being sought, and cash rewards of up to $7,500 each are now offered for information leading to their capture.

The scofflaws are from the countries of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.

The ACLU is seeking immediate action into Border Patrol agents’ use of horses, raised lariats (also referred to as “whips” in public reporting), and xenophobic and derogatory language to menace and intimidate migrants.

A handgun and an item containing suspected narcotics were observed in the immediate area where the two individuals were located.
