San Angelo McDonald's Restaurant Renovation Coming Soon

SAN ANGELO, TX – One of San Angelo's McDonald's restaurants will be getting a $750,000 facelift soon.

According to San Angelo McDonalds' Franchisee, Eric Wilson, the McDonald's restaurant located at 4330 Southwest Blvd will undergo a complete renovation.

City of San Angelo building and inspection reports for July show that the commercial permit is still pending and that the project will cost around $750,000.

Wilson stated that this has been in the works for four years and he is excited about finally getting through the paper work.

Previously, a convenience store was located on the north side of the property. After it closed McDonald's acquired the property and now uses it for extra parking. Currently they are using the lot for an entrance as Southwest Blvd. is shut down in front of the building for road construction.

Wilson did not specify when the burger joint will close for the remodel.

This is one of three McDonald's locations in San Angelo. The other two are located at the corner of 6th and Bryant while the other is inside of the 29th Street Walmart Super Center.
