The San Angelo City Council approved a Memorandum Of Understanding with the San Angelo Area Foundation Tuesday to construct bathrooms at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in San Angelo but not without some controversy.
According to the City of San Angelo, the west side of Green Meadow Drive at Southwest Blvd. will be closed to through traffic due to reconstruction of the intersection at Southwest Boulevard.

Shortly after announcing the new meeting time and date at the McNease Convention Center on Rio Concho Dr., the city also announced streets near the convention center would be closed for construction beginning the same day, Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
