Tom Green County Commissioners Reinstate Burn Ban

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Tom Green County Commissioners on Tuesday reinstated a ban on outdoor burning effective Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 8 a.m.

According to the County Judge's office, the "Tom Green County Commissioners Court has placed a burn ban in effect for July 8 at 8:00 am."

The court also acknowledged the receipt of the Certificate of Occupancy for the new Tom Green County Detention Center issued by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards clearing the way for inmates to be transferred from the existing jail downtown to the new jail on U.S.67 N.
