Huge Fire in Miles Raises Concern

MILES, TX - A San Angelo LIVE! reader sent us pictures of a big blaze off Kiesling Road in Miles.

We called around town to see if we could get any information and Runnels County Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Ornelas gave us the answer.

He said that the Miles Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the area to extinguish a grass fire. Ornelas said that no structures or people appeared to be involved, and it was not considered a major fire.

It's unclear how the fire ignited.
