SAN ANGELO, TX — Four roadways in Tom Green County remain closed and all are in the east side of the county. They are:
FM 381 - Water over 5 feet high at Lipon Creek pushing water over the roadway. FM 381 is closed from Lowake south. This northern portion of FM 380 is expected to re-open at 8 p.m. July 5. Further south, just past the FM 380 intersection, water is reported over the roadway in parts to the intersection with US 87 south. TxDOT expects this to clear up by 2 p.m.
FM 380 - Water is reported over the roadway in parts between the intersection of FM 380 to US 83. It is expected to clear by 2 p.m. on July 5.
FM 765 - Water is reported over the roadway in parts from west of FM 381 to east of US 83. Conditions are expected to clear by 2 p.m. on July 5.
FM 1692 - The roadway is closed due to water over the roadway at the Concho River. It is expected to clear at 11 a.m.on July 5. Until then, FM 1692 is closed south of Miles nd US 67 north.
Inside the city, the hardest hit areas from the flood are in northeast San Angelo. County and city officials thank all those involved in the rescue efforts and continue to work to search for one reported missing citizen. Police Chief Travis Griffin did not release any identifying characteristics of the missing person the afternoon of July 4. He stated police are searching in one pinpointed area for this person.
Once safe, officials encourage citizens to document as best they can any damage related to the flood to assist with emergency funding support.
Any debris can be moved to your curb this time. The landfill will remain closed to the public. The focus today, July 5, and throughout the weekend will be commercial trash pickup, hospitals and nursing homes. Residential trash will be delayed up to one week.
Republic Services has trucks en route from across the state and should resume residential pickup Monday.

Assistance will be available for those in need on Saturday, July 5, with intake beginning at 11 a.m. at PaulAnn Church, 2531 Smith Blvd.
