Second Rollover Crash on an Otherwise Peaceful Sunday in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Loop 306 at Ben Ficklin Road became the scene of the second rollover crash in San Angelo on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

According to San Angelo police, the incident involved a sole occupant driving a Ford Taurus who managed to roll over his vehicle. Remarkably, the driver was not injured in the crash.

After police finished interviewing the driver about what happened, they arranged for a cab to take him from the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the rollover.

Conditions at the time were favorable, with dry roadways and clear skies. The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m.

This marks the second rollover incident reported in the area on the same day, following an earlier crash in northern Tom Green County involving two vehicles.
