Chase with a Wanted Man in a Stolen Vehicle Ends in Crash

 

BALLINGER, TX -- The Ballinger Police Department apprehended a wanted man last night after a chase with a stolen car. 

According to the Ballinger Police Department, on November 26, the BPD found a stolen car and attempted to pull the car over. 

The occupants of the car did not stop, but instead decided to flee from the officers. This is when the chase began. 

The stolen Black Kia was originally spotted in the Ballinger city limits but the chase did not end until they were in Concho County. 

Police have identified the three inside the vehicle as Markee Ashford, Darius Hering, and Nataley Prieto. They were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest with a vehicle. 

Ashford was also wanted out of Travis County for two counts of aggravated robbery. 

The three are currently in the Runnels County Jail with bond upwards to $150,000.
