AMBER Alert Cancelled After Missing 10-Year-Old Hamlin Girl Found Safe

 

HAMLIN, TX — A statewide AMBER Alert issued for 10-year-old Skylar Beach has been cancelled after she was found safe, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The alert was originally issued after Beach was reported missing around 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of NW Avenue G in Hamlin, a small town northwest of Abilene.

Authorities believed she was with 43-year-old Terry Jeter and that the pair may have been traveling on a 2002 black Suzuki Intruder motorcycle with Texas license plate 138A4V.

Beach was described as 5-foot-2 with red or auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, pink shorts, and red Converse sneakers.

Jeter was described as 5-foot-9 with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

No further details about her recovery have been released. The AMBER Alert has officially been discontinued.
