Odessa Police Investigating Suspicious Death of 67-Year-Old Woman

ODESSA, TX — A 67-year-old woman was found dead outside a residence on the 800 block of E. 4th Street on Friday afternoon, prompting a suspicious death investigation by the Odessa Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:55 p.m. on May 16 following a welfare check request. Upon arrival, they located the deceased woman outside the home.

The department’s Criminal Investigation Division was called to the scene. According to police, foul play has not been ruled out, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Next of kin have been notified.
