San Angelo Man Arrested for Firing Guns in Neighborhood

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested for firing guns at homes in his neighborhood.

Alvaro Saucedo, 34, of San Angelo, was arrested and charged with deadly conduct by discharging a firearm.

According to court documents, on May 18, 2025, San Angelo police officers responded to the 600 block of East 25th Street for a report of shots fired. Officers spoke with a witness who stated that he heard six or seven shots fired from a nearby residence.

Officers then made contact with Saucedo in the backyard of the suspected residence. They found Saucedo with an AK-47 between his legs, a shotgun nearby, and a handgun in his left hand. Saucedo was then detained by officers.

According to the officers, he checked the ground where Saucedo was located, and multiple shell casings were found on the ground. Also, three fresh bullet holes were observed in the fence in the direction of neighboring homes.

A neighbor’s RV was in the line of fire.

Saucedo was arrested on May 18, 2025, and was released the same day on a $35,000 bond.
