Man Hospitalized After Shooting at North Abilene Hookah Lounge

 

ABILENE, TX — A man was taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after police responded to a report of gunfire at a hookah lounge in North Abilene.

According to the Abilene Police Department, officers were called around 2 a.m. June 1 to 706 N. 6th St., where they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. Medical personnel rendered aid at the scene, and the man was transported for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

The suspect was not located, and the investigation is ongoing.
