Amarillo Restaurant Owner Indicted for Allegedly Putting Camera in Restroom

 

AMARILLO, TX — The owner of the Potato Factory restaurant in Amarillo was indicted recently after an employee found a hidden camera in a restroom.

Randy Lee Nelson, 64, was indicted by a Randall County grand jury on one count of invasive visual recording, and two counts of tampering with evidence.

According to police, an employee found the phone hidden in a box that was sitting on a rack in the restroom.

The employee realized the phone was actively recording and reported the crime.

It is unclear how long the phone had been recording at the business, which is located at 4631 S. Western St.
