Reagan County Investigating RV Trailer Thefts Amid Rise in Property Crimes

 

BIG LAKE, TX — The Reagan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of RV trailer thefts amid a broader increase in reported property crimes across the county, including oil field equipment thefts.

In a public announcement made today, the sheriff’s office said multiple investigations are underway and urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activity immediately.

According to officials, the thefts involve several camper trailers stolen from different locations around Big Lake:

  • A camper trailer was taken from Sengleman Storage sometime between January and June 2025.

  • A 2018 Prowler trailer was reported stolen on June 21 from 400 North Railroad in Big Lake.

  • A Zinger camper trailer with Texas license plate B421940 was stolen from an RV storage lot.

The department emphasized the importance of community assistance in solving these cases. “Community tips and reports can be vital in helping us solve these cases,” the announcement stated.
