San Angelo Rapper Indicted for Robbery

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man is being held on a $30,000 bond after a grand jury indicted him on a second-degree felony robbery charge, according to an indictment obtained by San Angelo LIVE! and jail records.

Jaborien Cook, 22, was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center on Dec. 10 at 11:13 a.m. The indictment alleges that in July 2025, Cook committed theft of property with the intent to obtain or maintain control of that property and intentionally and knowingly placed a woman in fear of imminent bodily injury or death.

After a quick Google search of the man's name, a SoundCloud account under the name “800BLOCKJABBA” lists the artist as Jaborien Cook of San Angelo, with multiple posted tracks.

Cook remains in custody as of Thursday.
