ODESSA, TX — Police arrested five people in connection with a shooting that occurred overnight in the 1000 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Street. No injuries were reported.
The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Rylee Wooten, 17-year-old Beauchan Bergen Jr., 17-year-old Christopher Reese Jr., and two 16-year-olds, the Odessa Police Department said. All five were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, a second-degree felony.
Investigators located the suspects’ vehicle at 42nd and Grandview, where several shell casings were found. Two firearms were also recovered in connection with the shooting.
All five were charged and arrested accordingly, police said.
