Three Arrested After Shots Fired at San Angelo Apartment Complex

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police arrested three men Wednesday afternoon after responding to reports of shots fired at the Village Apartment Complex, according to a department news release. 

Officers responded around 2 p.m. July 8 to the complex at 212 S. Fillmore. Members of the Special Operations Unit and Narcotics Division detectives established surveillance in the area and took two individuals into custody without incident. During the investigation, officers recovered two handguns, one with an altered serial number. 

Ucello Lira was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct, discharge of a firearm, unlawful carrying of a weapon, tampering with identification numbers, multiple city warrants and one county warrant. 

King Barrera was booked into the jail on charges of disorderly conduct, discharge of a firearm and unlawful carrying of a weapon. 

A third man, Christopher Gray, was also arrested on an outstanding county warrant. 

The investigation remains ongoing. No further information will be released at this time, police said.
