DPS Troopers arrested Kaniel Miranmontes, 38, of Big Spring on Warrants out of Winkler County for Possession of less than 2 ozs of Marijuana and a False Drug Test Falsification Device.
Sunday, March 10, 2024, an inmate made a daring escape from the Sutton County Jail in Sonora at approximately 3:30 p.m. After fleeing on foot, the inmate reached a rest stop at mile marker 394 on Interstate-10.
