Students Go Back to School After Extended Break

SAN ANGELO, TX - Students at all San Angelo ISD campuses returned to the classrooms Monday, marking the beginning of the second semester on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, after a winter break.

“We hope everyone had a safe and relaxing break,” the school district stated. “We are excited to see our students’ smiling faces and have them back in our classrooms for learning.”

As students settle back into their academic routines, January brings an additional reason to celebrate within the SAISD community.

The entire month has been designated as School Board Recognition Month, acknowledging the role played by the School Board Trustees.

“Today, we kick off our celebration of School Board Recognition Month to recognize our Trustees for their extraordinary commitment to the children of San Angelo and to the mission of engaging all students in a relevant and inspiring education that produces future-ready graduates,” San Angelo ISD stated.  “Join us in thanking our San Angelo ISD Board Trustees for their dedication, volunteer work, and servant leadership.”
