GoFundMe Set Up for Teen Shooting Victim

SAN ANGELO, TX – The family of the teen who was shot and later died last Thursday night is asking the community's help to lay their child to rest.

As previously reported, on Aug. 3, 2024, San Angelo Police responded to a shooting near the 1300 block of Paisano Place. Once on the scene, officers discovered a 17-year-old girl who was found shot.  She was taken to the hospital and later died of her injuries.  Police arrested the suspect, an unidentified 16-year-old male, but it is unclear what he is charged with. As the situation comes to an end, now the family will have to lay their young daughter to rest. A family friend is helping raise money for the family.

"Her life was taken away way too soon. The last thing her family needs to worry about is these expenses while they're mourning her. Any amount you can donate will be appreciated by the family," said the fundraiser's organizer. "May you be blessed and hold your family tight."
