Teen Got Drunk, Passed Out and was Left for Dead, Some Say

According to the police, a report regarding underage drinking at a party surfaced in the 1400 block of W. Harris Ave. However, upon arrival, authorities found no evidence of such activity. The initial 9-1-1 call was placed by a concerned mother whose daughter had been invited to the gathering. Following the distressing update about Mr. Velasquez’s grandson on Facebook this morning, we conducted our investigation. It was discovered that the party actually took place in the same vicinity but on E. Harris Ave., and the police were not notified. Moreover, there were no reports of any disturbances or underage drinking gatherings on E. Harris Ave. last night or early this morning.

The grandson, reportedly 18 years old, was discovered unconscious on the curb of 19th St. around 3 a.m. He received treatment for alcohol poisoning, and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
