Brayden played all out when the playoffs rolled around. He led the Cougars to a 72-30 win over Bruni, a 56-6 win over Snook, then falling to the Falls City Beavers 18-27. Wilcox was a scoring machine over those 3 games scoring a combined 15 touchdowns on the ground and through the air.

Even though Christoval came up short in the 2020 playoffs against Falls City, making it as deep into the Texas high school footbal quarterfinals is the furthest Christoval has ever made it since changing classification from 6 to 11 man. At one point during the season, the Cougars were ranked 8th in the state in 2A Division 2.

Over his four varsity years, Wilcox scored 101 touchdowns, suffered just 17 interceptions, and completed 12,294 total yards.
