SAN ANGELO, TX — The Concho Valley Regional Food Bank (CVRFB) has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, complete with a new logo, updated messaging, and a renewed call for the community to reconnect with its local hunger relief efforts.
Since splitting from Feeding America in April 2024, CVRFB has sought to redefine its role in the region’s charitable food landscape. Once part of the San Antonio-based Feeding America network, CVRFB parted ways after the national organization proposed reclassifying the San Angelo-based food bank as a regional warehouse with limited local control.
Despite the challenge of losing access to large corporate donors such as H-E-B, which now donates its food waste exclusively to Feeding America, CVRFB continues to supply food to locally governed charities like Rust Street Ministries. With two organizations now serving the Concho Valley, the CVRFB is reasserting its identity and mission.
For more than 40 years, the CVRFB has served the region with dedicated hunger relief programs. The rebrand marks a new chapter focused on flexibility, compassion, and rapid response to community needs.
“We’ve always been your local food bank,” Jenkins said. “But with our new brand, we’re showing that more clearly than ever. We’re rooted right here in the Concho Valley—and we’re here for our neighbors, always.”
At the center of the rebrand is a new logo: a heart atop a simple box, symbolizing the food bank’s delivery of nourishment with love, dignity, and consistency.
“Our logo tells a story,” Jenkins added. “Every box of food is filled with care. Every connection with a neighbor matters. This brand reflects the work we’ve always done and the future we’re building.”
A new website has also launched at conchovalleyfoodbank.org, making it easier for the public to donate, volunteer, or access food assistance programs.
As part of the rebranding, CVRFB announced updated mission and vision statements emphasizing people-first service and community-driven impact.

The new Concho Valley Regional Food Bank logo introduced s part of its re-branding in June 2025.
