Traffic Alert: Obstruction on US 277 Between Orient and Bronte

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Drivers traveling on U.S. Highway 277 between Orient and Bronte are being asked to use caution after reports of large rocks in the roadway.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office issued a travel alert Friday morning, warning motorists of the hazard. According to the alert, issued just before 10 a.m., multiple calls were received regarding the rocks in the road.

The Texas Department of Transportation has been notified and is en route to remove the debris.

Motorists heading from San Angelo to Bronte are advised to proceed with caution until the roadway is cleared.
