Splash Pad Dreams Come True at Kirby Park

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Kirby Park Splash Pad is officially open to the public.

The splash pad, located at 1402 Edmund Blvd., is open daily from noon to 8 p.m. The project is the second of two splash pads completed through community fundraising and donations, with construction led by All-Tex Irrigation. The first was the Unidad Park splash pad.

According to the City of San Angelo, nearly $875,000 was raised for splash pads at Kirby Park and Unidad Park, primarily through private donations.

An additional $150,000 in in-kind contributions of labor and materials came from local partners. Art in Uncommon Places also donated custom benches for the site.
