Central High School Organizes Clothing Drive for Flood-Affected Families

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Central High School is hosting a back-to-school clothing drive to support local families in need and those impacted by recent flooding.

Donations of gently used or new items will be accepted through Aug. 7 at multiple drop-off locations: Happy Trails & The Carriage on Knickerbocker Road, Discount Tire on Sherwood Way, the YMCA downtown, and the Central High School front desk.

Organizers are requesting casual wear such as hoodies, T-shirts, jeans and joggers; streetwear and basics including graphic tees, cargo pants and leggings; shoes and sneakers in all sizes; and outerwear like jackets, windbreakers and flannels.

A pickup day is scheduled for Aug. 8. Residents can sign up by emailing [email protected] and leaving bagged items on their doorstep between 8 a.m. and noon for collection.
