Tom Green County Lieutenant Reelected to Texas Jail Association Board

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that Lt. Levi Vance has been reelected as a director on the Board of the Texas Jail Association.

Vance, who has already served four years on the board, was selected again by his peers across the state. 

The Texas Jail Association provides training, support, and professional development for jail administrators across the state. Vance’s role on the board allows him to help shape best practices and uphold professional standards for corrections operations in Texas.

"We are proud of his ongoing commitment to excellence and his dedication to advancing corrections leadership statewide," information from the sheriff's office stated. "We know at TGSO that Lt. Vance is a valuable asset to our corrections effort, and we are well pleased that his efforts extend beyond the walls of our facility throughout Texas via the Texas Jail Association."
