Rollover Crash Takes Out Utility Pole, Sends 1 to Hospital

 

GRAPE CREEK, TX — A rollover crash in Grape Creek on Thursday knocked out a utility pole and resulted in the driver being taken to the hospital.

The crash occurred about 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of FM 2288 and Old Sterling City Highway.

A white truck left the roadway for an unknown reason and went through a utility pole before coming to a stop on its side.

According to scanner communications, the driver was able to exit the vehicle before first responders arrived.

He was then taken by ambulance to the hospital. His condition is unknown.

Utility crews were called to immediately repair the pole, which was snapped by the collision and left dangling from power lines.
