Warm, Dry Weather to Continue Across West Central Texas

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Warm and dry conditions are expected to persist through the weekend and into early next week across West Central Texas, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.

Daytime highs will remain above normal, with most locations in the Concho Valley and surrounding areas reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s through Tuesday. Forecast highs include 92 degrees in San Angelo on Friday, followed by 89–90 degrees through early next week. Abilene will see highs ranging from 94 on Friday to 90 by Tuesday.

Overnight lows will stay mild, generally in the low to mid-60s. San Angelo is forecast to drop to 62 degrees Friday morning, with overnight lows gradually climbing to 65 by early next week.

Forecasters said the region can expect clear skies with no rain in sight, extending an ongoing dry pattern.

The National Weather Service noted that the above-normal temperatures and dry conditions will be consistent across the area, including Ballinger, Brady, Brownwood, Coleman, Haskell, Junction, Ozona, San Saba and Sweetwater.
