One. Last. Time. - Stranger Things 5 Releases Final Full Trailer

THE UPSIDE DOWN — The final trailer for the last season of Stranger Things has dropped online.

Since July 15, 2016, Stranger Things has grabbed hold of fans. Only 34 episodes have been released, but finally, we have entered the endgame.

The synopsis reads:

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal; find and kill Venca. But he has vanished – his whereabouts and plans are unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.

As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming – and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end the nightmare, they’ll need everyone – the full party – standing together, one last time.

The trailer is set to Queen’s Who Wants to Live Forever. While many may think this song was written by Freddy Mercury, it was actually written by Brian May for Highlander and is set to the main character, who is immortal, watching his wife age and die.

That could mean that many of the beloved characters that fans have loved since Season 1 could bite the dust.

Season 4 ended with the antagonist, Henry Creel aka Vecna, being beaten by Eleven, Nancy, Robin, and Steve. Vecna was hurt and is in hiding to start Season 5, but he did “kill” Max. With Eleven’s help, Max wasn’t fully killed and is in a coma. Still, Vecna’s plan worked, and the Rifts converged in Hawkins.

The episode titles are as follows:

  • Episode 1: The Crawl
  • Episode 2: The Vanishing of ****** *******
  • Episode 3: The Turnbow Trap
  • Episode 4: Sorcerer
  • Episode 5: Shock Jock
  • Episode 6: Escape From Camazotz
  • Episode 7: The Bridge
  • Episode 8: The Rightside Up

Fans speculate that Episode 2 will be titled “The Vanishing of Holly Wheeler," but the Duffer Brothers have thrown that into speculation.

Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of Stranger Things, have confirmed that Season 5 will answer two questions:

  • What is the Upside Down?
  • Why was Will taken?

Stranger Things 5 will release on Netflix in three parts. Volume 1 will be Episodes 1 through 4 and will release on Nov. 26, 2025. Volume 2 will be Episodes 5 through 7, and released on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2025, and the last episode, The Rightside Up, will release on Dec. 31, 2025 and have a theatrical release to accompany it.
